Windows 11 Beta Build Includes Store Ads
Microsoft has started showing ads for select Store apps in the Photos editor
Apparently #Microsoft is now including ads in the photos app? The latest build of #Windows11 in the #WindowsInsider Dev channel includes an ad in the Photos app. This ad links to a store page with Adobe Photoshop and Affinity Photo! The fact that Microsoft has ads in not new, but this ad is on a new level. Let me be clear. Microsoft is advertising paid, third-party apps from a built-in Windows 11 tool, the Photos app. This is a level of advertising not widely paralleled on other OS platforms.
