Cert Scanning with SSL Labs

How secure is your website? You can find out in 60 seconds.

Are you interested in testing the performance of your website’s SSL/TLS settings? If you are, Qualy’s SSL Labs is just the ticket for you. This online service enables you to just enter in your website’s URL and receive a full report in about a minute. The report will assign a grade A - F that indicates the health of your server.

In some cases, a low score can mean that your server is supporting old protocols. This is probably the most common reason that scores are low, but other factors can also come into play such as server misconfigurations.

In the case of securecyber.info, the first scan performed was a B, but after we removed our support for TLS v1.0 and v1.1, our score went up to an A. The choice to disable old TLS and SSL versions must be made on a site-by-site basis, as TLS isn’t really critical for some sites. Some website owners may choose to keep older versions to support users with (really) old clients (TLS 1.0 was released in 1999).

If you want to test your website(s) repeatedly, there is an API for this service that can be found here.
